Why is DARF needed?  The Defence of Amateur Radio Fund (DARF) pays the Amateur delegate’s travel expenses <more>

Amateur Radio benefits from World Radio Conferences:  Many of our bands are the result of hard work by Amateurs at a World Radio Conference (WRC) and its preparatory meetings to protect or add new allocations for Amateur Radio.  <more>

ITU and WRC:  The International Telecommunication Union sets international band plans at World Radio Conferences. With limited spectrum, new or expanded allocations by one service can only come as a result of another service’s loss <more>

Amateur Delegate at WRC: Canada is one of the few countries that makes space on its international conference delegation for an Amateur as a full-time advocate for Amateur Radio, but does not pay the delegate's expenses.   <more>

Donate: Travel and meeting expenses for a 3-4 week international conference can top $10,000 or more, even for the most frugal travellers. <more>

DARF Donors: Your donation ensures that there will continue to be an Amateur in the Canadian delegation looking after your interests. <more>

DARF Annual Reports:  Annual Reports on the Defence of the Amateur Radio Fund are published in The Canadian Amateur magazine and are also made available on this website. <more>
